Obama Super Bowl Interview

Bill O’Reilly’s Super Bowl Interview With Obama Was As Combative As We Expected. Bill O’Reilly grilled President Obama over health care reform, Benghazi and the IRS during a contentious interview on Sunday.

Obama sat down with O’Reilly at the White House, as part of an annual tradition in which the president gives a pre-game interview to the network that is airing the Super Bowl. O’Reilly went straight for questions about the botched Obamacare rollout.

The interview was combative — as was expected — with O’Reilly interrupting the president, Obama hitting out at Fox News and, at times, the two men talking over each other. O’Reilly pressed Obama on why he didn’t fire Secretary of Health Kathleen Sebelius, and whether he was told the 2012 Benghazi attack was an act of terror.

“Bill, Bill, Bill… and I’m trying to explain it to you if you want to listen,” Obama interjected as O’Reilly pressed back against his answer on Benghazi.

Later, when O’Reilly suggested that the president’s critics believe his administration didn’t initially designate the Benghazi attack as an act of terrorism because it would damage his campaign, Obama responded: “They believe it because folks like you are telling them that.”
